My name is Jack, I'm 23 and weigh about 250-260 lbs and stand at 5'10. My overall goal is to lose about 85 lbs over the next year, and lose around 20-25 lbs by New Years. I'm really at a loss of how to go about it however... these metabolism calculators I find online all seem to say that I burn about 2600-2700 calories a day by doing nothing, but I'm pretty sure I'm not eating over that. Sure there are days I pig out, but more or less I'm eating around 2000 cals.

Also I'm not sure how to go about doing weight training with cardio, and how much cardio I'm suppose to do anyway. I know that to lose weight I have to take in less/burn off more calories than I consume, but I also know that if I burn to much I won't build any muscle (not that I'm trying to get shredded but some muscle would be nice). I'm also unsure of how much to eat while working out, lot's of sites say a guy is supposed to be eating 1800-2000 calories a day just to function, but if I do that and burn off say 750-1000 every day is that bad? is that like under eating?

Hi.. I am Edward I'm so tired of not being able to keep motivated to lose the weight. I need to lose at least 20kg to get to where I'm comfortable with myself. I just need the physical activity to go with it. Please suggest me some tips for loosing weight.
