Thanks so much Evelyn!! Weigh in this morning and lost 1.5lb happy with that! You are doing so well too!! we will get there together!!:grouphug:
 
(I was 1lb up this morning. So I'm pretending I didn't weigh myself today. :) )


Newme pulls slightly ahead in the turtle race, But Evelyn still plods alongside.

(The Hare twisted an ankle in his kick-spin-cardio-boxing class and is reduced to sitting on the sofa, drinking diet soda & watching cooking shows.)
 
(back to 302 this morning, so I'll weigh myself "for real" tomorrow)


(no, I'm not obsessing - pretending I haven't weighed myself would be anti-obsessing, right?)


(and I'm not thinking about alligators)

I was just reading this thread about "racing" to your goal weights NEWME and EVELYN and I could not stay silent.

I want to say CONGRATULATIONS!!

Both of you have the right mind-set, you are ready to make a change. Good! Great even!


Can I make a few suggestions, please?


1) Drink no liquid except water.

2) Do some type of resistence exercise daily. This can be as simple as doing lunges in your living room!!

3) Eliminate all meat from your diet and replace it with beans, berries and seeds.

4) Eliminate anything that is WHITE (rice, flour, milk, etc.).

5) Eat more raw veggies (broccoli, bok choy, snow peas, leeks, cauliflower, green beans, kale, etc.).


Your body is craving nutrients, so please give it what it is asking for :))


I am not an expert, but, I have lost 35lbs. and I did this by adding daily resistence training, drinking 64oz. of water a day (2oz. every 20 mins.), eliminating meat, dairy and increasing my intake of raw veggies.


Oh, one more thing, eat all of your food in the form closest to it's natural state. Apples, not apple juice or apple sauce. Stay away from processed foods. Because when a food is processed it loses most of the nutrients.

Hi guys! What a lovely lot you peeps are! Thanks so much for you're kind words and encouragement. Craig thanks so much for you're advice i have been cutting out eating bread and i know i need to step up the fresh veggies and processed food had been eating the low fat activivia as a snack but i guess natural fruit would be better still struggling to drink the target each day on the water but 2 oz every twenty minutes sounds less daunting thanks so much!

Awesome work Newme and Evelyn! Great to see that you're both doing so well on your journey.


Keep holding each other accountable over the next month and things will definitely become more of a routine and then it's (mostly) smooth sailing.
