Hi,

I am Eden. I am joining this forum to help me be motivated to maintain my weight and if still possible lose a pound or two. I am 5'2" weighted 50 kilos or approx. 110 lbs. I used to be 54 kilos or approx. 119 lbs. I had some weight loss guide, put it into practice and thankful to lose some weight. Now I am just trying to lose some more weight and I am trying to have a firm muscle and good shape. :)

Looking forward to sharing my ideas and learning from other's ideas. :)

Hey Eden! nice to see you here. I don't know how old you are but certainly, without any doubt you can firm up muscle at any age. To lose fat and stay healthy is a no brainer Eden when you consider all the good things that comes from it. Also be aware of all the bad things that can happen when a person is unhealthy.

Thanks for the wonderful advice, knotty.

I am already 30 years old.

I am contented with my weight. But I will still continue to try to lose at least 4 pounds and then work on having a good shape with firm muscle. This forum has many members and I believe, you are one of those who will share wonderful advice.

Welcome to the forum.

Your BMI is 20.1 so it really is doubtful that losing any more weight would have that big an impact... At your size you would probably have to work pretty hard to lose 4 pounds.

I think that you have hit the nail on the head when you say that you need to tone up. I think that toning will have a huge impact on your shape and your self esteem. You will benefit most from focussing on the exercise side of things (and of course continue to eat healthily).

I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends

Good luck with your project.
