Hi, I've just found this website and it looks great; it's always comforting to know there's people going through the same/similar boat as you!
Well, I'm Ashley-Marie, and I've been exercising now for 7 and 1/2 weeks, I began by doing various routines changing constantly until I found the one I love - Jillian Michael's 30 day shred - It's brilliant, you can feel the muscles working the whole time, she's got a lovely bubbly personality and it just motivates the hell out of you! Since I've started doing it I've lost half a stone and my body has toned up loads! I'm planning on keeping up the exercise until I've reached the point where I feel completely comfortable in my own skin! I hated not feeling comfortable being me, and I figured how could I let anyone else love me when I don't even love myself?

Anyway, thanks all who read my ramblings, it's lovely to see so many people getting fit, and healthy too, good luck to you all, and hi!!

It sounds like you have made a brilliant start in finding a work out which you both enjoy and believe is being really effective.

Even if you are comfortable with your approximate weight and you are more concerned about toning - your body may well appreciate you checking the nutrition sections in order to ensure that you are getting enough of all sorts of different nutrients to keep you really healthy.

Lots of us find that we are apt to not eat enough protein, calcium, fibre, healthy fat etc or maybe have a bit too much sodium. Lots of us end up having to drink a bit more water too...

Either way - we benefit from the support that we get from other people here...
