Hi everyone. Im 20, a student, and in the last 3 years I have put on way too much weight due to low self worth and sheer laziness! But this has all come to an end, as I have FINALLY shifted myself out of that cycle of badness.
In the last 2 months I have lost 2 stone, But I still have another few to go until i reach my goal! I'm currently 12 stone 10 lbs, and five ft 3 inches, which classes me as obese! Anyone out there who wants to share advice, tips, or just words of wisdom, I'm all ears!:bigear: I've lost motivation recently, and have put lbs back on, so hoping that by joining this forum, I will get back into the swing of things. x

Welcome to WLF! You should browse around the forum! You should find lots of topics, help articles, and suggestions!

That's about 178 pounds? (I think 1 stone = 14 lbs?) What is your goal? When do you wish to achieve that goal? :beerchug:

EDIT: Congrats on the weight loss! (I totally didn't see that part for some reason)

Welcome and congrats on the weight loss so far!

Many people find it very inspiring to read through others' weight loss diaries and the before and after photos. It might be helpful for you to start a diary as well!

Good for you. You've already taken the necessary first step, which is realizing that you have to change your lifestyle. And, coming to this forum was a great choice, because there are a lot of people who have a lot of information, advice and personal stories of success that can help keep you on track.

For new members, I always recommend reading through the sticky posts to get some pretty solid information about health, nutrition and fitness. A lot of the information in the sticky posts is information that can be used, not only during the beginning of your weight loss journey, but throughout the entire process. Then, read through some of the members' journals and see how they have gotten themselves healthy. Start your own journal too. A lot of members you meet will check in from time to time to see how you're doing. It may sound like a small thing, but knowing that you have friends here who care can make the world of difference. I know it did for me.

Good luck.
