Hi everyone, I read about this site from a health magazine and am so glad I joined. Let me introduce myself, I'm 32, mum of 2 and have struggled my whole life with my weight. I finally decided to fix it once & for all after I saw photos of myself at my daughters 1st b'day (jan. 2007). I have now lost 60 kgs & have 15kgs to go. I hope to inspire & be inspired by others!
 
Wow, that's a lot of weight loss in that period of time! Congrats!

I came across this site via Slimming and Health magazine(Australia), I read the success stories to keep myself motivated.

As for my weight loss, I learnt about portion sizes and decreased the size of my food servings at lunch and dinner, snacked on healthy foods every 2 hrs,cut out soft drinks, started excercising ( 30mins walking every day if possible), repititions with light weights and perservering with it & being consistent.

when I first started at 145kg, I could only manage to walk 2mins at a time!
I now do 30-60mins on the treadmill. some days i slacken off and will eat far too much & do no excersise, but i pick myself up the next day and keep going, coz it'll be worth it in the end!
