Hi!

I'm starting over. My biggest problem is my mind and not believing I can do it, although I've had a pretty good week. My focus is on weight watchers at home, smaller portions and drinking 2 1/2 litres of cold green tea a day. Also walking most days but nothing strenuous. A little yoga with tapes from the library. The before and after pictures are amazing. Uncertain of my own ability. Help!

Sometimes, the hardest part is just getting started and not letting ourselves trip us up!

It sounds like you've got a good plan ahead of you - just remember that it's one day (sometimes one meal) at a time. No matter how much you have to lose, pounds come off the same way - one at a time.

You CAN do this :)

I did a ticker but I'm afraid to put more than twenty pounds down as a goal. Just can't imagine taking such a leap as fifty pounds.

How do I get my ticker to show on my posts?
How did you get your stats on the bottom of your post?

When I first woke up to the fact that it was TIME to do something about my weight, I looked down at the scale and said (and I quote) "There is NO F**KING WAY I can lose 102 pounds!!!"

It seemed positively overwhelming.

However, once you start going, you'll see, it really is just one pound at a time. Consistancy, just put one foot in front of the other - every day, and you WILL reach your goals!

As for tickers, somewhere on here is a walk through (I'd have to look to see where) for putting up a ticker, however, for a brief rundown,
go to pick through to get your ticker, then copy the bbc code, come back here, click on User CP on the top of each page and it will take you to your Control Panel, from there click on "edit signature" and paste the bbc code in. That *should* work ;)

As for mine, I don't use a ticker, I just go to the user CP, edit sig and typed in the info, when it needs changing I just do the same to change it.
