I've been around for about a week, but haven't posted a lot-- thought I'd introduce myself.

My name is Stephanie- I'm a college student, 19 years old.

I weigh about 150-155lbs, and would like to weigh more like 130-135. I run a lot, because I am trying to get rid of my legs. I hate them! and my love handles.

My mother is a nutritionist and my father a physician, so I know how to eat healthily, but have problems with snacking and motivation. I know that if I do the cardio I'll lose the weight, because a few years ago I weighed 180. So I guess I'm half way there, but when I get to 150 I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep going.

Now I'm about to enter my sophomore year, and I really DO want to lose that weight! I went to go on spring break with my friends and wear a bikini!

I want to wear halter tops and low rise jeans and not be self conscious.

I just need support-- because it's easy to say "This is how I am, people will love me or else they're shallow." I don't just want to lose weight to look good- I want to lose weight because I want to be healthy, be a good role model for my future children (WAY in the future!), and care for my body.

Welcome!! Feel free to start your own diary to keep track of eating and exercising habits and such!! You've already taken the first few steps including joining a challange. :D
