Hi..I have been reading posts on here and is in awe of the progress that has been made..I have been on a roller coaster for years,my highest Being 235lbs .i have went from that to 127lbs .But then went to 170 and has been there for about 4 years..I weighed myself a couple of months ago and I was 167.5..I said to myself enough is enough.I want to get to at least 130.I have lost 16lbs..No fad diets..no pills just staying away from processed foods potatoes rice, and white bread...Being a meat and potatoes girl..its being a challenge. But I find I am not having the cravings that i had before..and its getting much easier to say no.But I need a forum when i want those potato chips and mashed potatoes to vent.I want to go on a journey with all of you so we can reach our goals..thank you to all of you for inspiring me already.

Welcome to the forum.

It is great to see that you are going to join San's new challenge. That will be a great way of getting to know lots of new people and getting some brilliant direction and motivation from some of our most experienced people.

You did very well on your last project and I am confident that you will be equally successful this time round.

Thanks Omega..and I just wanted to say WOW!!in how much you have achieved. It will be great to see everyones progress and mine too of course.lol..and we all need a kick in the butt every once in a while.I hope to have mine kicked if needed and I will do the same.Happy LOSING Everyone!!

We all believe in kicking each other's butts here... We all have weaker moments from time to time - and that is when that push from others really counts... We all have to stay on track if we want our weight loss dreams to happen... We can do amazing things if we stick together.

Thanks for your compliment on my achievement. Of course - it would have been better if I had never got myself a BMI of over 52 in the first place - but we are only human and things happen... I got all the way down to goal at 126 a few years back - but life happens (hubby had 5 operations and we relocated house) so I have weight to lose this year too (LOL I thought that I had lost it - but it seems I had just mislaid it because I found it again)...

I'm happy to meet you! I hope you get to your goals, I am a newcomer myself, but I have read a few of the posts here and it seems like everyone here is really nice and wants to help you stay committed to your goals. My goal is to hopefully get down to 125, I just hope I can achieve that. Good luck with yours! :)
