Hi everyone at weight-loss. This will be my small introduction, and if you have any advice then please share below.

I am around 5'4 / 5'5 currently weight 177 pounds and my end goal is to reach 135. I decided to join because trying to lose weight has been quite difficult for me. I feel there are several hurdles in my way to success and maybe this website can help me overcome some of those difficulties?

As of right now I am a college student and I dont have a lot of money to my name right now. I have recently started freeletics in hope of exercising a little more than I normally do. I personally felt I was eating an okay diet consisting of atleast 1 meat item and rice. Everyone says the most important part of losing weight is a better diet, but as I mentioned I am pretty poor so purchasing vegetables and healthy foods are almost out of reach for me. I honestly feel the world is against me with the prices of eating healthy and my college life with a busy schedule. So really I guess my 2 biggest hurdles right now is finding healthy meal recipes that are inexpensive to make, and exercises that are effective at burning fat with 30 or less minutes. Its good to meet everyone here, and hopefully you can leave some tips on how you got through having a low budget but still eating healthy.

My Usual Breakfast consist of: 1-2 Pancakes, 2 Eggs and I eat this just about everyday no variation.
My Lunch: leftovers
My Dinner: leftovers.. most recently it is Chicken with rice. I rarely have green veggies because its too expensive.
My Drinks: I usually drink Orange Juice all times during the day, and Soda maybe 1-2 times a week or not at all. I never drink any water unless I exercise, because I cant stand how bland it is. Not drinking water might be my problem but I dont know how big of a impact it has on weight loss.

I am not sure why I have not lost any weight. I honestly feel my weight is only being maintained. I have been at the same weight for 5 months now little rise and drops here and there. I have no idea what is holding me back from weight loss.

Thanks for viewing.

And some additional information. I have a sedentary lifestyle right now so I am in terrible shape, even small amounts of exercise make me very tired. I planned to exercise 6 days a week but yesterdays workout made my entire body sore so I did not exercise today.... I have already skipped a day of exercise LOL so right now this is looking pretty impossible. And even after skipping a day I still have small amounts of soreness in my legs and arm.

My questions:
1 Can anyone tell me how long it will take my body to adapt to the exercise and not be so sore?
2 And should I workout 6 days a week if this is my first time working out? Or start slower with like 2 days a week to save myself from constant soreness?
3 How long do I have to maintain an increase heart rate before my metabolism increase?
4 Can I lose weight from holding 5 minutes of increased heart rate and stop for the day or is it required to be 30minutes?

I know losing weight wont happen over night, but I really wanna lose my 50 pounds by 5-6 months from now.. But I dont know how I can manage to drop the pounds week after week to hit my goal. Now dont get me wrong I read that 50 pounds take 5 months to burn off from the internet, if this is incorrect then please correct me. To be honest I would even be happy losing 40 pounds by 5-6 months, so most importantly is I want to see visual changes by the 5 month marker I suppose.

- Its a lot to read, sorry. But I had a lot of questions because I am very new and sore right now lol. The more you know after all. Thanks

Thanks for the replies Samuel. I will look into your website, thanks. I appreciate you answering my questions as well ;)
