I was looking on the Net for a good fitness forum and came across this one which from what I've read so far is full of great info and advice!
A bit of background on myself, I'm in my early 30's and you could say that I let myself go about 6-7 years ago. I used to play competive sport and run long distances when I was in my late teens/early 20's and was extremely fit and healthy, but varsity and work meant that I've had little or no time for exercise since. I'm 5 foot 11" and weigh 207 pounds, my goal is to get down to somewhere around 170.
I'm currently doing a cardio and weights circuit training and I'm starting to see some results. Now I have done this before - about a year ago for about three months solid and lost a bit of weight, but then I had to travel a lot for work and ended up not training and putting the weight back on. This time however I am determined to keep at it even if I have to travel for work again!
