I'm not usually a joiner of forums and so feel a little shy / silly about saying hello, but maybe feelng like I;m part of a community will help me stick to my guns with my new goals
I'm in my mid 30's and have gained some weight over the last ten years that makes me feel like crap about myself. I am a pretty healthy eater, no fast food, mostly cook for myself - eat lots of veggies etc. I think my main pitfall is that I drink way too much wine and eat too much cheese
I usually maintain a weight of around 160 (I'm 5'6') but recently checked the scale and see I've ballooned up to 170. I feel gross all the time and basically hate getting dressed and being in public. I know this is lame.
I just started a new eating / excercicing program which I won't detail cause I've posted it in the advanced weight loss forum

anyway, Hi to all, here's to being healthy and happy and getting control again
