I'm new (obviously) to this forum.
I am 17 years old,and morbidly obese. It's not very encouraging for my upcoming future,but I'd like to change that.
I am currently 265lbs, 5'5". My eventual goal is 140lbs. I have no set date for that goal, because I want to lose weight with a life style I can live with the rest of my life,even if that means losing it slowly.
I have always been overweight, since I was a little child. My mom didn't feed me unhealthily be any means, that's just the way it turned out.
I currently am taking thyroid medication perscribed by the doctor for an under active thyroid.

Anyways, I usually walk for two 20 minute periods a day, sometimes more. My currently caloric intake is unkown, but I plan to start monitoring it soon.


Umm, I guess that's about it for now. I go by Pinch, because, that's just what I do. It's nice to be here in this community!
 
hello and welcome!!

yes, i would definately start keeping track of cals!! Excerisizing is great, but when it comes to weight loss, cals in vs cals out is what counts. I was shocked how many cals I was taking in...in a day before I became calorie consience, lol.

Hello :) I just joined this forum a little less than a week ago...I'm 17 as well (5'3, and 188ish currently, trying for 140 too!) if you want to buddy up to communicate with each other and keep each other motivated (and on track) and just support each other, I'm willing :)
