Hi!

I'm new here! I'm 31 years old, 5'4" and about 155 lbs. I'd like to lose about 30 lbs. My birthday is the 26th and I'm hoping to get to 150 lbs. by then. Do you think I can do it? More? Less? Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'll be active on these boards as I like to talk a lot (especially when I've just gotten some caffeine in me!) and tend to go on a bit). So anyway, wanted to say hi to everyone! Hope to see you again soon!

I've just joined myself. Thats 2.5lbs a week, definately doable, but a bit steep I think. It would be easier for yourself to maybe aim for a loss of maybe 3 lbs, thats 1.5 lbs a week, and if you loose more then brilliant! I'm by no means a pro but from a newbies point of view, I would struggle with 5 lbs in 2 weeks and feel awful if I didnt get it

Hi! You can Definitely lose 5 pounds by the 26th. Set your mind to it, watch what you eat and workout at least 5 times a week. I would recommend losing 2lbs a week for a healthy paced weight loss. Good Luck to you!
