Hi, new here

Hi everybody. I'm 26 years old female and weigh 130 lbs (I'm 5' 2). My goal is to at least lose 15 pounds within the next 3-4 months. Lately I have been living a sedentary lifestyle. Well, that's going to change. I also have a workout routine so I will post that perhaps later today.

Ok, I know my diet needs much improvement but here is a typical day. Usually I stay around 1500 calories. I would like to eat more protein and vegetables so some ideas on how to do that would be appreciated.

Breakfast
-Coffee w/non-dairy creamer and Splenda
-Oatmeal w/skim milk OR whole wheat English muffin w/2 TBSP. cream cheese
-Hardboiled egg OR plain yogurt with 4 strawberries
-24 oz water

Snack
-Green tea
-sometimes a bag of Baked Lays but usually nothing

Lunch
-frozen lunch entree such as Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones OR
-soup such as Progresso, Campbell's
-diet soda (usually caffeine-free)

Snack
-tuna and WW pita OR
-fruit and hard boiled egg

Dinner
-veggie burger
-WW bun
-lettuce, tomato, onion
-slice of provolone
-a serving of oven fries

Snack
-when I do it's usually sugar free ice cream or fruit

Thanks in advance!

-Hardboiled egg OR plain yogurt with 4 strawberries
-24 oz water
I would add at least 3-4 more egg whites here for protein

Snack
-Green tea
-sometimes a bag of Baked Lays but usually nothing - Ditch this and have a fruit and protein source.
Lunch
-frozen lunch entree such as Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones OR
-soup such as Progresso, Campbell's
-diet soda (usually caffeine-free)
Im not crazy about frozen pre-made foods so I would suggest you have something like turkey breast with real cheese here. Maybe on whole grain/wheat bread.

Snack
-tuna and WW pita OR
-fruit and hard boiled egg
Ditch the pita and add real mayo. You can chop in some onions and green peppers and have tuna salad. I think 1 6oz can would be enough. You can do away with the fruit and keep the egg if you'd like.
Dinner
-veggie burger
-WW bun
-lettuce, tomato, onion
-slice of provolone
-a serving of oven fries - NO to fries

Snack
-when I do it's usually sugar free ice cream or fruit
This should be something like cottage cheese with almonds or some sort of EFA.

Thanks in advance!

I hope this helps a bit.

Great, thanks for the quick response! Saying no to oven fries will definitely be a challenge but I'm willing to give it a try.

Well, If you take away the bun in that meal then I think the fries would be good to go.

Yeah, I know it's a lot of carbs in one meal but I figured it was a better alternative to a real hamburger and french fries, lol.
