You should look up Jamie Eason's Livefit 12 week program. She gives a list of 'healthy' food lists, advice & tips, and pretty much has an entire monthly schedule you can follow. As well as a workout program. I use bodybuilding.com for tips and advice, and I also follow some fitness people on tumblr and pinterest, which seem to help a lot. (For me anyways!
The secret to speeding up your metabolism is eating 6 small meals a day.
Breakfast is your MOST important, and your most healthiest meal as well. As the day decreases, your meals aren't as healthy. Try to stay away from carbs past 7pm OR 3 hours before bed.
When you don't eat, your body thinks it is starving so the next time you do, it will store it as fat.
