Hi all I have finally decided to do something about my weight, something I have been trying to brush under the rug for a while now.
I am only 21 but I was pretty fit in high school, I actually thought I was big then... well I played soccer (football, whatever) 4 times a week 2 hours at a time and I was known for being a good runner. Well since leaving school and getting my license I slowly gained weight that at first didn't faze me much as I am pretty confident about myself... but now I am fully aware of the weight that I have gained and it has gotten me down for about a year now.
I am a part-time student in my first year, I work two jobs flexibly part-time (sitting at a desk) and I have two very energetic dogs... my boyfriend plays football (AFL) so he is very fit, I just need some more motivation and control and I know I can do this.
I have a free gym membership at my local university that I am taking advantage of, participating in agility with my aussie shepherd and regularly walking him for an hour every day (he is still young). I am also doing volleyball for an hour once a week, as I prefer team sports and hope to find something else a little firther down the track (need my fitness back).
So I am 163cm tall and I weigh 85kg, and my ideal weight is 55-65kg...
I hope to stay on track with my healthy eating, to make going to the gym a routine and knowing I have to walk my dogs makes me that little more motivated, or they destroy the house or eat something they shouldn't
I look forward to reading your journals and also writing my own and I hope to help others as well as being helped to accomplish our goals.
Thanks
