Hi my name is Elvira

I'm 23, going on 24 next month (on the 23rd). It's always been a roller coaster with my weight...I've been between 198-265lbs since '05. I'm 5'5 large body frame. My goal weight has been 150lbs, but I haven't been able to reach that goal since I was 16. I know it's going to take a while to lose this, but I would love to be at least 30-40lbs lighter by May. It's going to be my nieces birthday (she turns 1) and I'll be baptizing her. I don't know if this is a realistic goal, but if anyone can help me out? I currently weigh 241-245lbs (my weight shifts between the day), and I've been replacing my 1-2 meals with Jillian Michaels Hydro Whey Shake and trying to consume the max of 1,900-2,000 cals a day which I've cut down between 700-900 cals from my diet (of just poor eating). It's only day 3, and I know I wont see any results with in a week or two...but does anyone have advice? I hope to make friends :)
Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Are you down to 1900 - 2000 kcal/day now? So, you were close to 3000 kcal/day before? Your basal metabolic rate is 1900 kcal/day which means if you did not work out at all, you would burn 1900 kcal/day. If you exercised 500 kcal/day and stayed at your current food intake, you would lose 1#/week which would be about 15 pounds by May. Not your goal, but a safe, sustainable weight loss. You could decrease the food intake to 1400 kcal/day and exercise 500 kcal/day and hit your weight loss goal. Basically, you need to eat less and/or exercise more to attain your goals.
