Hey everyone! I am a 20 year old, 5 foot 7 inches, and weigh 160 pounds! My goal is to weight 145 and to gain some muscle and toneness. I have been looking for some diet plans and exercise plans to help get me started, but so many of the plans are full of just weird food that I never eat or would never cook.


Can anyone help me figure out a diet plan for me? I guess my only hard guideline is that I want to eat cereal in the morning, or maybe an omelete would be nice!


Any suggestions?

As for gaining muscle... you'll need to start some resistance training! I would recommend starting off with a full body program 3 days per week. Are you going to go to a gym... workout at home?
 
For me menu planning and calorie counting has worked the best.


Im a pretty big guy so I can eat 1500-1800 cal a day and lose 2-4 lb a week if Im exercising moderately


I plan everything Im gonna eat and try to stick to it.


I even plan some cheat stuff like a burger but it costs me like 500 calories on my total.


If I can stay 90% to this plan, I lose.
