Im new here. A little about myself. Im 34, 6ft, and work as a freelance Audio Engineer. On the 1st of July 2013 i decided to change my lifestyle for good.
I started going to a gym, mixing cardio and alternating with weight training for 6 days a week. I gone from a start weight of 111.9Kgs to 107 as measured on 29th July 2013. I hate using the word diet. instead ive adjusted my eating habits.
1) Green Tea, Water, black tea, black coffee in stead of coke and 7up
2) Lean meats (beef, chicken) and veges instead of burgers, fried stuff, and anything white (flour, sugar, bread, rice etc)
3) drastic reduction in all sweet stuff (i do have cheat days which would be a little square of dark chocolate or a tea spoon peanut butter)
4) use a protein shake Twice a day, which i plan to stop soon and replace with nutrition instead. (not sure about this)
On the first day of cardio my trainer got me to try a 5K to check my fitness level:
1st july: 5K in 61Min.
2nd August: 5k in 36 min.
My goal eventually is a strong, fit 85 Kgs by 1st April 2014. Lots of work to do...
