I'm Hannah and I'm 18.
About a month ago I stepped on the scales to see 168lbs (12 stone) and my jaw completely dropped! At 5'4 I should be between 8 1/2 - 10 stone as far as I know, and it was only last year I weighed 7 stone 12lbs.
I've completely changed my diet; I eat around 700 - 800 calories a day and have started seeing a really negative view on food through fear of putting on any more weight.
This change in diet and atleast an hour and a half of exercise every day has helped me lose around 10lbs so far, but it's just not coming off quick enough!

If anyone has any tips, advice, or just wants to say hi, it'll all be very welcome
:)

Hi Hannah,

Tips? #1 is eat more. You're not eating enough. You'll be dropping muscle as much as fat in a severe calorie defieciency.

Set up an account on and track what you're eating. Pay particulat attention to your macro's (that is your ratio of protein/carb/fat)

Once you've tracket your food for 1-2weeks then post your findings. We'll be able to be very helpful.

I have an app on my iPhone where I've tracked every little thing I've eaten for the past month or so, I'm very careful to make sure I have about 1/3 protein, 1/3 veg and 1/3 starchy foods in my main meal.
I usually have the same things every day which is 30g cereal and an apple for breakfast, 2 ryvitas and a slice of meat for lunch with a whole pepper chopped up, and an example of my main meal for most nights would be a small chicken breast (no skin), two stems of brocolli and around 25g of rice. I hope this may be helpful? :)

Ok, that's a good start. But I'd up your intake to 1000 at least. Calculate your BMR and see what that tells you

Your calories should be 1200 or more. 1000 is too low. If you start at 1000, you have nothing to work with.

I dropped my daily calorie intake down to about 1100-1200 but for a few weeks my weight was barely shifting at all, which is why I'm on about 800 now.
