Hi! I'm new and I have no idea where to start!

So I have no idea where to start. Im 5 foot 5 inches and 181 lbs, so im considered obese. i have two small children, work full time, and im a part time college student so my schedule is very full. nonetheless, i need to lose weight. also, im in the process of quitting smoking cigarettes, so i hope to be able to breathe through a workout soon. i started walking with a friend but i dont feel like its enough to really get the pounds off so i need help! any suggestions?
 
hi and welcome to the forum!! no, walking alone won't help shed the pounds, you need to be aware of how many cals your consuming. Do you know how many you take in on an average day?
 
Congrats on deciding to quit smoking! Just take it slow... don't try to change everything at once. Make a few changes and work on those for a while, then once those are manageable, then move onto a couple more small changes.
