Hi I am new here!!! Inspirational (funny) story

Hello,

I am new and have just recently lost 19lbs. I have had many health problems that you can read in my profile.

Anyway, I teach middle school English. My daughter goes to the same school as me. She told me this morning that one of the boys told her I was a "hot" teacher. LOL Even though it was just a kid, it made me feel like people might be noticing my weight loss. I haven't been called "hot" in many years.

It is amazing how something so small and silly can make your day!!

I wish all of you experience something that will lift your spirits. Please share the stories on this thread. I would love to hear them.

A couple of weeks ago I found that some short shorts of mine were fitting again, so I put them on to go get my son off the bus. My husband was getting a ride home with a friend of his from work and they were coming up behind me and my husbands friend said " Damn! Look at that!" (my husband is in construction) My hubby just grinned at him and said" yup that's my wife!" When he told me that story It made me feel great.
