Hi guys

I'm Fraser from Scotland. I am 17 (18 in December) and am currently in the recruitment process for the British Royal Marines. I have selection in January (I am doing it so late because I have a college course just now). I have passed every test required and selection is my next step. After selection I'm off to Lympstone for my 32 week training! I have a massive interest in fitness (obviously). I cycle as well as run most days. I tend to do 1 day cycling, 1 day running, 1 day rest. But I usually cheat my rest day and go cycling, it's more of a hobby than a burden. I have problems with my feet (flat feet) which makes it harder for me to train while running but I'm going to a physio next week to get some insoles sorted out.

I hope to spend a lot of time on these forums. Nice to meet you all.

Hello Fraser.

Welcome to the community. I am new to it as well. I have the same issues with flat feet (haha). Insoles would definitely help. Cycling is such a great way to burn calories. Great cardio! Good to meet you.
