Hi all,
My name is Stuart and im 25, from UK!
Back 2 to 3 year ago i smoked heavily, drank like a fish and only exersize i got was walking to pub.
I have now cut my drinking from almost 6 to 8 pints almost every night to a bottle of wine as a treat every 2 to 3 weeks; and i stopped smoking almost 11 months ago with only one relaps of a single cig 8 weeks past (i was almost sick, never again!).
This is part of my 3 part plan to get my health in a good place! part one and two as above.
But now its time to shift my gut
Im 181cm and 109kg (was weighed about 2 months ago, no idea now).
My diet hasnt changed properly yet, apart from having smaller portions.
I got myself a second-hand excersize bike of a fiver, and im on that 5 or 6 days a week for 20 to 40 mins. I also dusted my weights off i had from when i was 17 and using them 2 to 3 times a week...
Iv only been at this for 3 weeks so far, and already i feel good about myself, no real fitness as yet but stopping smoking and drinking gave me a missive boost, and 3 weeks anit that long really.
I replaced my smoking habit with sugar, mainly in my coffee, but starting to cut back on that now.
Reason iv joined this forum is because im doing this by myself, no other party to compete against or drive me, so i thought this would be a great place to gain ideas and insperation as well as share my progress and experiences with other in a simular boat...
