Hi all. Yup, another newbie. I'm a diet veteran. I've tried everything, from Atkins to Zone, and nothing works in the medium- to long-term.
Since meeting my now-husband just under four years ago, I've picked up 10 kilos and am gaining (slowly) all the time. We're big eaters

I don't want to end up putting on 3 kilos a year for the next 20 years, esp when we start a family, so I'm looking for something long-term and doable that isn't torture and that won't make me a miserable person who doesn't want to socialise ('cos of all the delicious food and red wine out there...)
The only two things that *have* worked for me, in the short term, have been the O Blood Type Diet and calorie counting, but - typically - I can't stick it out.
So that's my story. Would appreciate any guidance you may have, and look forward to engaging more with the forum over time... Thanks.
