Actually I got on the scale finally this morning and did lose another 2 pounds so I'm not complaining.
I think the first ten were just "easy" in comparison to what the rest will be. You know when you first start really dieting and you lose like 7 or 8 pounds in one or two weeks then start to lose 1 or 2 pounds each week? Just makes it seem soooo much slower!!!!
So what am I doing? 1500 daily calorie intake max. I was doing the firm 5-6 times per week, various tapes. One day high cardio, next more weights. I slowed down on that a little just to not get totally burned out. Still lost the weight just from the diet though.
Allow myself 1 to 2 "cheat" days but not crazy cheat. This is the first true calorie counting diet I've ever really done and I must say that it does change your whole outlook on everything you put in your mouth!!! Regardless of the final outcome of this diet I have really trained myself into thinking of every single thing I eat which is a great thing!!
I've always been an excersizer but until the last few years never really had to watch what I ate. I just stayed at a healthy weight without much effort. I guess kids and life and hitting your 30's changes that theory
Starting weight 198, current weight 186.2.
I just have to realize that it takes time and that it's a slow process.
Hey there! Yes... it does take time. But it's going to be SOOO worth it!
I went through the same thing... It seems like the weight was coming off at an awesome pace and now it has slowed since I entered the 180s. I really think the 180s are out to get me... like they won't let me pass through!! hahaha. But I'll push through it.
I think anytime you get to the next set of ten pounds it seems like forever!! Assuming you lose 2 pounds per week that's still 5 weeks to move on to the next club!!
I'm making sure I stay totally focused and on track this week. I find that the more I work out the less likely I am to screw up on the diet part because I don't want to waste all that effort. So back to good workouts and full calorie counting. I want to join the 170 club REAL soon
