Hello peoples! My name is Mae and I am 29 years old. Well.. been checking at this forum for a couple of weeks now and have to admit that reading some of the post really motivates me to loss weight especially Before & After… and In-Between Threads. It’s amazing!

My weight shot from 147 to 154lbs since my bf visited 2 months ago. We tend to eat/take things easy a lot whenever being around with each other without exercise! Since I’m beginning to feel all my clothes are getting really tight and it’s begin to freak me off. Being just 5” I do look like a baby elephant with that weight now. Yes that’s a lot and it really upset me.. Yes finally I join this group today and hoping that I will reach my desire weight by end of September 2006.

Thanks ImaFatass.. well im sure i will manage if i keep myself checking and reading this forum. It really helps a lot..

B A Rabbit you think i should get rid of him? But.. but... he gained 6kgs because of me. It's actually my fault, cos i always took him to the best ever places which serve good food in my country.. Well he is not complaining bout how i look like.. it just me.

Oh ya... today is the second day of my diet. So far so good... Back to the gym and burned 600 calories yesterday and also am following a 1200 calories diet plan.

Not weighing myself yet.. will wait till next tuesday.
 
Welcome. I've struggled for YEARS. Know i've lost 12 pounds in one month. This is what I do-throw out all junk food, Propolene pills, vitamins, water, and exercise 45 mins a night. I know its a lot to thow at you, but believe me it works. GOOD LUCK!!!

I hear ya on gainign weight with a significant other.

I had an ex that wouldnt go to the gym,always ate out,demotivation all around. I lost that 125 lbs immediatly and i started to lose weight once i got back into the gym. its easy to mope around since u have someone accepting you as u are. but look out for #1. yourself and your health. Id love to find someone to diet and exersice with and if u cant do it yourself!
 
Welcome! You will find great support here :) I totally understand you about gaining weight with your boyfriend. Two years ago I left the small town where my boyfriend and I lived and went away to University. In that year I gained about 30lbs!! Everytime he came to visit me, it was like a vacation and we would go out to restaurants and pig out, which ended up with us BOTH gaining a ton of weight. During the summer though, when I went back for the summer, to live there again, we found something we both loved, baseball. It gave us a reason to spend some time together, besides sitting on the couch watching movies and getting fatter :) Plus it was a good workout, and we were outside in the fresh air!
