Hi all, i'm Sallie, im 20 years old and want to lose around 3-4stone. I had my son in august 2010 and put on a lot of weight during the pregnancy. I'm 5ft2 and used to be a size 10/12 and would like to get back to that size. I suffer mild anxiety so dont get out of the house much but if anyone could reccommend some good exercises i could do in the house that would be great Thanks all x
There are a few exercises that use to work for me when I was younger and are starting them again.... Tummy crunches are great... don't get your heart rate up much but more toning. You lay flat on your back ( can put a rolled towel under head for support) Knees slightly bent and feet flat on the floor. Tighten your abs and then crunch them. Hold for 5 seconds and release. break for 5 seconds. and repeat. Its hard to do at first but as you go they become easy. You can also crunch them and slighty move to the sides at the same time to work the love handles. The other one is.... the twist. Stand feet shoulder width apart. Suck in belly button back straight. Put hands in front of you like your boxing, and twist to left return to center, and twist to right and return to center.... these work good at toning. Not lossing weight......
