Hi all, I am brand new here and thought I would introduce myself.
I am a 29 yr old single mum of one.
Stay at home mum, as I suffer from bi-polar.
Always been slim until the last 3 years or so, when my weight has crept up and up.
I am only 4ft 11 so even a lb extra looks alot, I am currently about 10-15lb over weight and about 20lb more than I would like to weigh.

Have tried dieting on and off for ages, but just dont seem to be able to stick to it, I have no will power.
I cant afford to do slimming world/weigh watchers ect, but really need some help to shift this extra weight.
It is tarting to make me uncomfortable now, and also very unhappy.
Hope I can find some support and motivation here to keep me on the straight and narrow.

You could try to keep a food diary where you write EVERYTHING that you eat up.
 
Welcome to the forum. I am bipolar too.

Writing down your food here is a good idea so we can see what you are eating and make suggestions.

Be patient at the beginning. Once you get going it gets easier.
 
Thanks guys, Just been joining fitday, but its not so great for us uk residents had to remember the american words for some of my foods lol.
All good tho. I will now head off to find where to write a diary. x
