Hi once again.....My name is Leo Arellano im 18 years of age and im finding my self in a situation that if i dont start running im going to completely get fat...im origanly from Visalia California...ok if anyone has any suggestions to what im bout to ask please help me out....My actual weight is suppose to be around 150 or lower i guess, unfurtunantly i let my self loose and starting eating a lot of junk food and im weightiing in at 185pds.. im planning to start going to the gym but sense my cardio might be off i want to know how often should i go run to the gym per week and how long should i run for?
 
Running and going to the gym is not going to help if you don't give up the junk food first. :) Losing weight is more about what you eat than how much you exercise. Don't get me wrong - exercise is important and will help speed up the process, but don't fall into the trap that says you can eat whatever you want as long as you run. It just doesn't work that way.

Check out the sticky posts in the forums - especially the ones focusing on nutrition and exercise and weight lifting. You'll get a lot of good information on how to lose FAT (as opposed to losing muscle) and how to eat healthily and not have to starve yourself. :)
 
yea i know thanx a lot for reminding me though lol.....yea i started to give up the junk food already not so long ago though....well thanx for telling me where to go now and go get some more information....i realized that i was getting to fat when my medium and large Tshirts werent fiting me any more now unfurtunantly im at an XL shirt and i dont feel comfortable bout my self thats why i said stop thats my limit i have to stop loosing wieght but thnx ill see what i can go find out ......thanx a lot
