I'm new to this site, but not to dieting. I have been up and down on the scales for years. I'm 21 years old and currently weigh in at 190. In high school I was 130 lbs.

I'm a stay at home mom to an 18 month old boy, and have a full time course load at college (I'm currently doing everything online). I'm buying a house with my boyfriend, and I love my life.

But... I am having such a hard time sticking to a weight loss plan. I lose a little bit of weight, plateau, and lose all motivation. I've been gaining and losing the same 3 pounds for the past month. I decided I need some outside support.

So here I am.

This site is really large. Let me know where I should begin.

Well first off welcome to the weight loss forum. You have already achieved one of the biggest steps toward weight loss and that's wanting a better and healthier lifestyle. Asking for support and advice is always hard so good job on seeking support.

Motivation is one thing that I have always struggled with. But if you look in the Before and After part of the forum and actually see some of the results people just like you are having you will feel extremely motivated. I know everytime I see new pictures and updates from people I am wanting to become just like that.

You should check out the diary/journal section too. There you will find diaries and journals of other weight loss goers just like yourself. I use my diary/journal as a way to keep track of my progress in exercise and diet. I also like to post about just daily events and things that I go through. If I vent out through my journal I feel so much better and I become in a better mood.

All of the people here are so nice and supportive. I hope you will find all the support you want and need here. I know I have. Good Luck with your journey through weight loss. Feel free to ask questions on just about anything here...there are so many kind people wanting and willing to help you out.
