hmmm not to sure what to say, besides Hi

I am a 27 year old mother of 5 (yes I am mentally stable, well sometimes at least ;) ) and am extremely overweight, currently weigh 142.5kg (314 pounds or there abouts).

I came across this fantastic forum yesterday while surfing the net and after having a look around thought it would be a great place to join for some support during my weight loss journey.

Anyway like I said, I really have no idea what to type here, so will just end my ramblings here :D
 
I'll just say welcome. No magic answers to be had...but lots of support and inspiration can be found here.

How old are your kids? No reason for asking...just curious. I always wanted a big family but only got one kid. :)

My oldest will be 11 in December, then I have a soon to be 9 year old, a just turned 8 year old, a soon to be 6 year old and my gorgeous 14 month old "Princess" :)
 
Nice of you to translate your kilograms into pounds for us TD :). That gets confusing sometimes, ya know..why would someone want to go down to 60 lbs :rofl:. Anyway, welcome to the forum. If you feel like it, feel free to start a journal in the diary section so you can keep us posted on what you're doing. Its so hard to lose weight after having kids, I just have one and even that was hard :rolleyes:. Well worth it of course :). TTYL

I see the problem. 4 of them are in school and you only have one at home to chase full time. Try having a few more kids and that weight should drop off. lol

Just kidding...but chasing kids does work you out if you do it seriously. :)
 
I have 5 too -- 2 stepkids and 3 of my own, ranging in age from 3 years to 18. They kick my ass! (Especially the teenagers... they think cars & money just grow on trees!)

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your weight loss. Oh, and start a journal/diary. That way, you can track your progress and the rest of us can check in with you and see how you're doing :)
