Hi all. I started seriously dieting and exercising about three weeks ago and it's been going well. I'm doing it on my own, but following the Weight Watchers point system. I'm one of those up and down people. I'm not new to dieting I've probably gained and lost in total 300 pounds over the last 10 years (50lbs gain/loss each time). I was a size 6 three years ago and would love to see that again, I'm between size 14/16 now and 5' tall.

It's always tough getting started, but since I did it before I know it can happen, though it doesn't come off as quickly when you get older. Thought I'd join here for moral support.

You've come to the right place. Good luck with your goals, and keeping it down. That's my biggest struggle as well.. I'm good at taking weight off, but I'm even better at adding it back on. It's much more 'fun'. That's why I'm here. Welcome aboard!

Good luck. Quitting an addiction usually takes multiple tries. I used to be a smoking cessation counselor, and it takes the average person 5-7 attempts to really be able to kick the habit for good. I'd imagine that it's about the same for bad eating habits.

Hi. I have lost and regained and gotten fatter too many times too. I find this forum a great help and really think this will be the time for me. I hope it is for you too. Welcome! :)
