hi everybody! :o

ye im 15 and 1 and a half year ago i broke my leg when i was in good shape but then after 4 months of not moving (complications had to re operate) i just fell out of shape. I had never done weight lifting, my muscles came from rugby and swimming etc. so i didnt do any of that and ive become a lazy couch potato ever since but summers coming up and its time to get the lazybones moving again, so ye im just gonna try my hardest and ive read a bit on the forums and looking forward to further advice i can find along the way.

things about me: from sweden, im 1.92m tall, which is like 6,3 feet and 194 lbs (gained almost 20lbs after 3 weeks of semi-hybernation during christmas  ) so ye.

oh and already a first question, my sister said its unhealthy to keep a routine food diet cause you get bored and you loose ur taste for food. is that true? for example if i eat oatmeal for breakfast, salad with skinless chicken every lunch and then something else healthy for dinner every day for like 2 months, would that be good or bad? (i could do it mentally cause im stubborn ;) but i wanna know if its good for me)

Hi and welcome to the forum.

It is not unhealthy to keep a routine food diet, however, there is nothing wrong with switching up the types of food you eat to satisfy your preferences, but this requires you to change portion sizes accordingly to fit your meal plan.
