I am not really a n00b here, i just joined 5 minutes ago but i've been lurking for months
I have finally decided to get serious about losing weight (new years resolutions and all
) and this forum has been great motivation for me!
I have a history of eating disorders which i am not proud of, but it has done quite some damage to my metabolism. So much so that i managed to put on almost 30kg (66 pounds to you Amerkins
) in just 2 years!!
So far progress has been slow, i am doing 1 hour on the ellipticals every day, and every second day, i try to shift my carcass over to the gym.
I have been a strict vegan for 5 years and a vegetarian for 8. So it's not like i've been eating much junk food or anything. Just toooo many carbs, like bread and pasta. They are so hard to get control of when you are a pasta lover like me!
Anyways, i am finding the weight very difficult to lose so far and i really need some support so hopefully i can meet people here who are in the same situation as me!
