Hi there, obviously new to this forum, hope it does what it says on the tin!!!
Right, Im a 31 year old english guy, I used to be very active, and do alot of water skiing, swimming etc but due to work commitments, I hate to say but I have slacked off for the last few years and am now beginning to see the effects!!!
Im 6"3' and at the moment weigh 102kg (224 lbs), know that sounds alot, but I am a big guy, only place I have any fat is on my stomach!
I am looking for advice on how to shed the flab in the shortest possible time... I have changed my diet and am eating healthily, and have started working out (ok, I would like some more definition, but not arnie style!!!) I have started swimming again, but just wanted to know if there are any exercises designed specifically for the stomach area... abs, yes, obviously, but here is the clincher, I slipped two discs in my lower back when I was alot younger and this has restricted my movement and flexibility in my back, so most ab exercises absolutely kill me! Been trying to use a core ball, but again, the pain is excrutiating...
So to condense all the above... can anyone recommend a certain type of programme which will be good for the definition side of it, the flab and also general flexibility... I have been searching online for a couple of weeks, and always seem to hit upon something that sounds great but then there are a hundred conflicting arguments.... confused.com!!!
Any advice would be so gladly accepted!!!
Thanks for reading,
Myles.
