Well...I am sort of new here. I've been lurking off and on for almost three years, reading the posts here for motivation.


At 38 I was almost 400lbs, my body was starting to develop all the typical aches and pains of carrying around all that weight. Becoming more depressed and feeling hopeless about my weight it got to a point that I felt this could be my last chance to do something about it, or it was the beginning of the end for me. Rather than set the usual, unobtainable short term, weight loss goal I wanted to try something different. I needed to make a life long change by adding exercise to my life and improve my diet. If I stuck with it I knew the weight would come off and now I am down 85lbs, with a few bumps in the road, but still losing slow and steady with exercise and diet. I have gone from hopeless to hopeful and now know it is never to late to


This forum is a big inspiration and I want to give a big thank you to all the the people here that share on the forum it really helps during the rough spots.
