Hi All! New to this Site

Hello everyone!!

I'm new to this site but certainly not new to losing weight, being overweight, gaining weight, you get the idea.

Anyway, I'm 30 years old :eek:\ Just turned 30 in May - My all time high weight was about 290 pounds... that was back in early 2004. I lost about 70 pounds and got down around 220 and kind of hovered there for oh.... 2 years!!!:rolleyes:

Anyway, hovering at 220 turned into now having gained 30 pounds... I'm sitting today at about 253. :( :( :(

I just wanted to introduce myself, I want to contribute here and post my thoughts, my progress, my journey - hope to make new friends too.

Also new to the site

I'm starting a new phase of my life: post college and moving to France soon. And I'm going to try to start a new physical phase at the same time. I've always been a curvy girl, but I'm looking for the curves to be a bit leaner. Today is day two of eating healthfully and so far, so good. I'm finding that if I plan my meals and snacks (like all the damned books advise) that I do much better. Excercise will be introduced tomorrow. I'm nervous about this part, since I've been so inactive for so long. I'm gonna start with some beach walking and introduce light weights next week. I'd love any advice anyone can offer. . . Wish me luck.:p :D
 
Hi Brandy! first of all, congrats on loosing those 70 lbs earlier on, also i really think u can do it when it comes to loosing more weight! good luck!
