I'm Dan, and taking another shot at weight loss! I used to weight 130kg. At the beginning of 2008, I decided to lose weight, and lost 4 stone. In May, however, I got some bad health news, and it totally threw me off. Since then, the weight has slowly crept back on
and I'm now back up to 120kg. I can't believe I let it happen - clothes shopping is so much harder, heat affects me more, less energy and all the other horrible things that go with carrying too much fat!
I manage a pharmacy, and have spent so much time doing research on diet, exercise, all the biology involved in weight and weight loss etc etc etc. What I find hard to keep now is motivation. I seem to do ok for a week or two then fall off the wagon, its so tedious! I remember when I was being healthy and losing weight, I used to think 'my god, how could anyone NOT want to lead a healthy lifestyle?!' How easy it is to slip!
Anyway, this is me shutting up now
I am hoping to find the motivation I need on here. I won't have internet access regularly for a week or two from now, but when I do I am gonna try and check in every evening after work to chat to others
