i posted this thread in a different section a few minutes ago and without realizing it i guess it was my introduction...so just to say hi to everyone, i'll repost it...

hey everyone, just joined this thing. i know i might get a lot of hate from some people when they look at me because they think "oh she doesnt need to lose weight" but before i get around to that, let me introduce myself first and ask some questions...
im a recent ucla graduate and i stand at 5'8 and im around 135lbs. sounds completely normal, even skinny to some. and i agree to an extent, but i still have weight issues of my own. while my arms and legs are pretty skinny, i have this huge unrelenting gut that just wont seem to go away. its embarassing to admit, but none of my friends would believe me until one day we went to the beach and they were just all completely shocked and stunned. one jerk even commented that he though 50% of my weight came from my stomach. i guess i can truthfully admit that my stomach sticks out a good 4 to 5 inches from where my hips are. i always wear baggy shirts and its hard to find jeans that fit well because my waist is a completely different size than what fits my legs.
i dont know what the problem is. i've tried to cut back on food, to eat healthier, even exercising for 30 minutes a day but with no avail. i try to drink 2 liters of water a day. i've googled ever "abdominal" exercise to recipes and im just tired of it. i really dont understand it so i joined this to just see if there was anyone else out there who understood and could try to help me out.
is it bloating? or am i just doomed to have this plumber-esque gut for the rest of my life? im super glad to have found this site, just because i really believe in support from others. i've been browsing through some threads and everyone seems so nice and supportive. its great to have found such a cool site. thanks everyone for reading!

GW: Dont really have one...can i just say i wish i had a smaller waistline? maybe like a size 28?
