My names Anthony, I'm from manchester England. Joined this forum as im looking for motivation while i go through my life style change and body transformation.
im 23 and Iv always been a big guy, but kept it off playing sport and messing around with mates and stuff. Anyway i injured my knee at about 17 and couldnt play sport or train for about 6 months. Anyway during that 6 months all i tended to do was eat and drink. There have been several periods in the last 5 years where i have been on and off in the gym, but i never really nailed an eating plan. Just didn't think i needed it.
Anyway cut to the chase, around june last year i was around 220 pounds at 5'10 so not outragegously huge but not brilliant. Another knee injury stopped me training again and i fell back into my old ways. I just did'nt think about it untill. Last monday when i weighed myself and came in at a hefty 280lbs. i was mortified and felt physically sick with myself. I sat down with my family and drew up a healthy food plan for us all. All clean healthy foods, no gimicky diets (tried those they don't work) and hard physical exercise. (without any impact on my knee). Since 31/12/12 i have lost 8lb so im pleased with that at the moment. The goal is too have lost 50lb by the time june comes around as i will be at a couple of festivals. Then by the years end i hope to be down to 180 and carrying some muscle.
