Hey everyone, I have been lurking on this site for a little while now and have really found a lot of people posts very motivating to me.

To start off, I have always been a bigger guy, I am 24 years old, 6'7 and clocked in at 396 pounds the other day. People don't believe me when I tell them how much I weigh because I am so tall, but it is true I am pushing 400 pounds. I am addicted to food, that's my problem lol.

I have joined a gym, but for some reason I hate going knowing that other people will be there, don't know why I feel that way and it is something I am just going to have to get over.

My Goal is to lose about 150 pounds, I know it will take time and I am not rushing it, I will be doing it by old fashioned diet and exercise, no pills, no surgeries or anything of the sort.

I am here to read about everyone else success to keep me motivated, which will make me push myself harder every day.:cheers2:

Hi,
Hope your well. Good on you for joining the site and taking the 1st steps to losing weight. I wish you every success.

I was the same about going to the gym. To be honest you hit the nail right in the head..you just need to get over it but when your there you will feel at home. No one judges you or makes you feel out of place etc, they will all be looking at you with admiration for making an effort to make yourself healthier.

I wish you every success and look forward to hearing how your getting on :0)
