Just new here been trying to diet on and off for years now and it works for awhile then I get fed up and just lose motivation.

Thought I would join a forum and see if I could get the motivation from here :)

Wee bit about me is that my names Jenn I'm 22 and from Scotland :)

What techniques have you tried to lose weight before, what's worked, what hasn't and what are you planning to try this time around?

I'm new to the forum and are trying to lose weight. having a bit of a rough time atm but are still trying. thought i would say hi.
 
Hey,

I've found that just counting out fatty foods, sugars & fizzy drinks work for me well.
I just lack the motivation sometimes, I need to do a lot more exercise but find it hard to fit in with my job as it's silly hours when by the time you get home you can't be bothered

Hey that's great! So what can we all do to keep you motivated in your weight loss efforts? I know that for many people, keeping a diary in the Weight Loss Diary Section helps because they have people constantly checking in on them and asking how there progress is going... Just a thought!

Challenges helps me! I do think that a diary helps us to keep up with our food intake and daily exercise.
