Hi, im Alison, im 19 and from Hertfordshire in England.

I thought id introduce myself first before reading most of the forum.

Just recently ive decided enough is enough and i started my diet. Im nearly at the end of my second week, on wednesday i'll see how much ive lost this week.

When i started just under 2 weeks ago i was 22.7 stone (sorry not sure what that is in pounds) and last wednesday i had already lost 10 pounds. I know thats a bit fast and tbh it was a big shock, all i did was follow the diet i was given.

Ive tried several times in the past but it never worked, however this is looking fairly good :hurray:

I'll leave it at that for now otherwise i'll end up writing a whole essay :p

Welcome to the forum.

There are 14 pounds in a stone so at 22.5 stone - your start weight was 315 pounds.

In the first week you lose some water - but it may be worth evaluating how many calories the diet is suggesting that you have. It may be designed for someone that is smaller than you - who would need less fuel for their body. It is important that you do not eat too little as that would not be good for you. It doesnt even mean that you necessarily lose weight any quicker in the long run either (which surprises quite a lot of people).

I would suggest that you read up the sections on exercise and nutrition. Also that you log your food and activity in (which costs nothing).

Good luck with your project.
