hey up

been looking around for a few days now so i thought i should say hi

well it started about 8 weeks ago i was sitting on the settee with a can of beer and some nacho's and i looked down at myself and thought i dont like wot i have become things need to change.

the next day i came up with a plan of action and first on the list woz to join the gym so i did. the guy there sorted me a programme walking on the treadmill and cycling with some light weights thrown in.

the next thing to sort out woz my diet because i ate alot of junk and drank loads of beer somthing had to be done.i told my girlfriend i woz going to do the food shopping she looked at me like i just told her i sold one of my organs but i had never done it before. it took me 2 hours to do the shopping i must have looked at every label. i came home with loads of fruit and veg, chicken, tuna all good stuff.

i even cut out the guy on the front of muscle and fitness magazine and put it on my fridge and no i'm not gay i put it there so when i go for a snack i open the fridge and see the picture and think i want to be like that and get somthing healthy out.

well 8 weeks on and i'm running on the treadmill and lifting heavier weights and feel great and i dont eat no junk i even dont drink so much now i have a couple of glasses of wine saturday night thats it.

looking back now it's one of the best things i have ever done and well worth the effort.
