Hey guys.

I like punk rock, tattoos, guitar, and drinking booze! haha.

So I started at 224. I have always been a lot smaller than this but over the last few years working in restaurants as a Chef I gained about 40 pounds.

I am now down to 204. So I am already half way there!

But it has slowed down a lot. So I am here for some support and ideas to get more weight loss each week.

nice to meet you all! :ack2:

yeah, no it won't. Detox is a fad, a myth. Don't fall for it. You don't need it and it can actually do more harm to you than any good you might think you seel. You want real weight loss, not temporary weight loss due to water or body waste.

What have you done to lose so far?
It could be as simple as kicking it up a notch for a few weeks; sometimes that's all that's needed to get back on the steady path of weight loss.

So is right. You could very well just be in a plateau (I know, my spelling sucks sometimes)

Slowing down on booze definitely helps. Unfortunately, that is easier said than done. I think I could give up food all together if I could drink as much as I wanted.

Hi

Alcohol is so many calories. A lot of people think it's ok because they don't eat much but they don't realize how many calories they drink.
Everything we eat or drink, we make a conscious decision. For me that's where it all starts. Decisions.
Hope you can also make some good decisions when it comes to both food and alcohol. Good Luck!!!

Booze is tough for me to! I'm 25 and love my Jack and Cokes and BEER!

ha ha I have to limit myself to only one night and only like 3...... plus I eat better during the day that day knowing I'm going to be drinking my calories later.

The best thing to do if you start not losing weight anymore is to amp up your workouts. Make things more intense with some interval training.

It works wonders!

As painful as it sounds, slowing down on the booze definitely DOES help...
I started dieting about 6 months after my 21st birthday; that one hurt!
