Hey there!

So I have just joined this forum, and I am looking forward to starting my journey and also help/receive support from other members here! :)
I am Hannah from England, 5"7, and 9st 5ib. I also have type 1 diabetes, which I was diagnosed with when I was 4. It has been very hard to controll from the age of 5 upwards, and I wish to improve my activity levels and hopefully gain better control of my diabetes to lower my HbA1C, which is currently 12.1. I would like to get it down to around 10 by february, with a long term goal of 8 or below.
I would also like to tone my body a lot more, and I feel that losing 5 pounds or so would be quite motivational. I think that all these factors would be very interesting as to how it would affect my blood sugar levels and my overall health as I improve my lifestyle.
Any support and tips would be great, I look forward to becoming one in this community and meeting you all! :)

Hey Hannah, welcome to the forum! Hope you enjoyed your holidays this year! Your best bet for support/advice would be to start a journal in the journal section (Journal). If you post some information about your diet & activity on a regular basis, you are likely to have people check in on you and help you overcome obstacles as they come up.
