hey there.. new noob aboard

hey there, im a 28yr old male, lil overweight, and totally out of shape.. so i found this site.. im about 5'10" and right at 200 lbs.. and i havent touched a weight in hmmmm 6 yrs.. i smoked cancer stix for 13 yrs having quit about a yr ago.. still smoke a nice cigar every now and then..

but i guess the reason for joining here is to get myself into shape.. i have a really bad problem with stress and anxiety and i end up in the hospital. and each time the docs keep saying watch what your eating and get off your butt and exercise..

so after the move (moving here in a week) i would really like to get my happy butt back into shape.. start eating right.. and start running, biking, cardio.. all that go happy go lucky stuff..

and just for a personal i took a photo of my not to lean body to look at here in like 6 months so i can compare with what i use to look like....

so.... any help and or comment and or tips will help out allot!!! thanks!!
 
Welcome! Good luck on your journey. Read through the various threads and stickies and decide what you want to do.
 
You took the first step. Congradulation on quiting smoking. It's tough man. At least you know that you have the willpower to do things. Get the knowledge and stay focus and the body you want is acheivable with some hardwork and sweat.

You may find the excercise high to be a good replacement for the smoking before as a "stress" relieve. Next thing you know it, you are a gym rat!!!

I smoked for 10 years and quit 6 years or so ago.
