Hey - Teen wants to get fit

Hey

First of i dont know if i have posted in the right place, or even the right forum! If i have made a mistake.. So sorry lol.

Anyway I am 16 year old male, and i wanna build up some Muscel :cool: I dont want to be like Mr Muscel man, but just a nice toned stomac.. and wel.. you get me lol.

But i really dont know where to start? :( I really want to keep it private and do it in my bedroom or when i am online in the house

can anyone help me?
 
By toned stomach, I assume you mean lower your body fat. Working your thighs will give you the best return on fat burning. And, cardio. If you get a treadmill, you can do that in your room.

Squats and lunges can be done in your bedroom with a couple of dumbbells also.

How far away is your school? How about riding your bike to and from school everyday? That will help if you have to ride for a little bit. And, even more so if there are hills along the way!

Be more specific, and don't be embarrassed - what words don't you know?

Basically, eating chips isn't going to get you abs like those. Eat a really clean diet and do some exercise, and then you'll have those abs.
 
Here are my quick tips for you:

1. Workout your abs HARD twice a week with plenty of rest in between. A good ab workout should hurt, and be very short. If your ab workouts are too long, you're probably not targetting your abs well enough and need to work on your form.

2. Stay away from fats and sugars.

3. Your stomach (the actual organ) is only about fist sized. Eat 5 - 7 meals a day, every 2 - 3 hours, starting with breakfast. These meals shouldn't amount to more than 1 - 2 times your fist size, ideally.

4. Do interval training 3-4 times a week. That means, for example, do a light cardio workout for a 2 - 3 minutes, and then switch right away to a VERY INTENSE cardio workout for about 2 minutes. Keep doing this until you can't do it anymore. An example of a cardio workout would be running or biking. This will make you lose weight, and keep muscle.

This might cheer you up. I would guess that the guy you posted has around 13% body fat. That is easily obtainable by you with a good diet and workout plan (as Fil, Spockafina, amd I have mentioned above).

Along with abs, at the very least, work your lower back. Doing straight-legged deadlifts will work in your bedroom.

You have already made the choice to make a better you. That is the hard part... Now do the easy part... Eat better, stop eating friggin' chips, and workout.

This is cake bro. All you gotta do is want it bad enough!

I had no chips yesterday! :D :D :D

and i jogged to work and back (round 10 min walk each way, which i know dont sound alot but bloody got me tired)
